An unusal small Victorian silver mounted desk seal.
 
A beautifully carved agate handle has a silver mounted end inset with an agate seal. The carving of the agate has been done to show off the banding in the stone.
 
The seal is carved with a fighting cockerel intaglio. 
 
This beautiful piece is in wonderful condition.
 
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Seal 5.8 cm length, 20.4mm at widest point, weight 28grams
