A beautiful Edwardian black opal ring.
The ring with a central oval cabochon opal with a small diamond set to each side.
The black opal is finely 6 claw mounted with the diamonds in a fine rub over platinum milgrain border.
The ring has tapered shoulders onto a plain shank and is low set to the finger typical of the era.
The black opal is an excellent colour with a strong play of 'fire'.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: Opal estimated 0.70 carats, exceptional colour with slight abraisions to surface consistent with age.
