Art Deco Black Opal & Diamond Necklace c.1930
A fabulous large Art Deco black opal and diamond necklace.
The necklace with a stunning cabochon oval opal with a strong play of blue and red in a simple double-claw setting open to the back allowing both sides of the opal to be seen.
The opal is suspended from a triple old-cut diamond drop, the diamonds in elegant platinum rub-over settings typical of the art deco era.
The diamonds are attached to a fine trace chain with original bolt ring.
