Art Deco Blue Zircon and Diamond Ring circa 1935
An elegant Art Deco blue zircon & diamond cluster ring.
The emerald cut blue zircon is mounted in a 4 claw setting within a border or diamonds in a stylised cluster with a plain edge. The head of the ring is made from platinum and has a yellow gold under bezel with chenier detailing onto a plain gold shank. The ring is low set to hand.
The zircon is a strong blue in colour and the ring is in wonderful condition.
As blue zircon is a slightly softer stone than some others we would generally not advise this type of gemstone being worn on an everyday basis, the ring is perfect however as a 'dress' ring and a fabulous accessory with so many outfits from jeans to the little black dress.
