An unusual art deco carved crystal pendant.

The pendant has a beautifully carved Cupid with the butterfly Psyche to his feet. The crystal glass was carved by Heinrich Hoffmann from Gablonz in Czechoslovakia who was well known for his skill in carved floral and fruit decoration along with small items which were made into jewellery. The crystal is backed with a thin layer of mother of pearl.

The pendant has a fine gold mount with a gold runner ring and is in wonderful conditon.

Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940

Measurements: Pendant 3cm in diameter, 8 grams in weight

Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 18ct gold
