Art Deco Cultured Pearls - Diamond Clasp c.1930
A stylish row of cultured (Akoya) pearls with an Art Deco diamond set clasp.
This beautiful necklace is strung with a wonderful slightly oval clasp set with square cut diamonds to the centre within a border of smaller diamonds. The clasp is finely made with a rubover border and a 'hidden' saftely catch to the reverse. It has an integral diamond set tongue style catch with a good firm snap to close it. The pearls are strung so that the clasp can be worn at the back or on the side.
The pearls are beautifully matched, they are whitish ivory in colour with an excellent lustre. A perfect necklace for any occasion.
