Art Deco Diamond Sabre Brooch c.1920
A fabulous and ornate Art Deco diamond and pearl set sabre sword brooch of large proportions.
This wonderfully detailed brooch has diamonds set to the guard and enamel and gold ropetwist detailing to the grip and the scabbard. The pommel is set with a pearl and the centre of the blade is partly covered with a decorative diamond set section. The scabbard is removable revealing the point of the gold blade and is linked to the brooch with a safety chain.
There is slight wear to the enamel on the scabbard consitent with age and wear but the brooch is in great condition. It is probably American in origin and has an integral safety clasp to the pin.
