Art Deco Diamond & Sapphire Heart Pendant - French c.1925
A stylish ArtDeco sapphire and diamond heart shaped pendant.
This elegant pendant has a central old cut diamond (estimated 0.40 carats) in a fluted raised mount, typically French in design. This is set within a border of 6 diamonds and 3 cabochon sapphires each in fine rubover setting with a milgrain edge.
There is a futher outer border of smaller diamonds each within a fine openwork setting and a milgrain edge.
The point of the heart is set with a larger diamond which balances the piece beautifully.
The pendant is French made and has a tapered runner ring to the top for a chain or ribbon.
Era: Art Deco, c.1925 - 1940
