Art Deco Pink Topaz & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1930
An unusual Art Deco pink topaz and diamond cluster ring.
This elegant ring has an old cut pink topaz surrounded with a border of old cut diamonds in a classic cluster design. The topaz is claw set and slightly higher than the diamonds which are finely grain and milgrain set in a handmade openwork bezel. The ring has a fine gallery with chenier detailing and fleur de lys shoulders onto a fluted shank.
The ring is very low set to the hand and a wonderful example of its design, the topaz is a bright soft pink in colour.
Due to the nature of the design and the hardness of the topaz it is not recommeded for heavy everyday wear. Topaz is a softer stone than sapphire and ruby.
