Art Nouveau Opal & Pearl Necklace c.1900
An unusual opal & pearl necklace from the Art Nouveau era.
This elegant necklace has a beautiful oval opal inset within a trangular openwork panel. The panel is closed to the reverse with an organic design typical of this era.
The panel has a baroque pearl suspended from the base which moves freely when worn. It is suspended on a baroque pearl set chain in a design typical of the Art Nouveau movement.
The necklace has its original fine trace chain with a handmade hook fastening and could be elongated if required.
Era: Art Nouveau, 1890 - 1915
Measurements: Opal estimated 1.5 carats,
Pearls untested - assumed natural freshwater.

Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests as 18ct gold
