Art Nouveau Ruby & Diamond Pendant c.1900
A stylish late Victorian ruby & diamond floral pendant.
The Art Nouveau design is made up of stylised fuschia flowers set with rubies and rose cut diamonds around a central old cut diamond within an openwork quatrefoil border. The fuchsia flower represents confiding love in the Victorian language of flowers.
The bright red rubies have a fine yellow gold milgrain setting and the diamonds are all fronted in silver and backed with gold typical of the era. The pendant has a rose diamond set bail with a large ring allowing it to be suspended from a chain or cord. (We can source a chain if required)
This gorgeous pendant is of beautiful quality and finely made. It is an elegant and feminine piece and wearable for any occasion.
