A classic mid 20th Century diamond solitaire ring.
 
The brilliant cut diamond is mounted in a handmade 8 claw coronet mount with scrollwork detailing.  The ring has tapered shoulders with chenier details onto a plain white gold shank. The ring sits low to the hand making it easy to wear.
 
The diamond looks larger than it really is giving the illusion of a 2 carat sized stone.
 
This stylish ring is perfect for everyday wear and would make a fabulous engagement ring.
