Edwardian Opal & Diamond 7 Stone Ring c.1907
A classic Edwardian opal and diamond ring.
The ring has 3 well matched oval cabochon opals with a slightly larger central stone. The opals have 2 small old cut diamonds set between them in a gold triple claw setting.
The ring is made in 18ct yellow gold with tapered shoulders onto a plain slightly graduated shank typical of the era.
The opals have a good play of fire. The setting is open to the reverse and the ring is low set to the hand.
