Edwardian Pink Topaz, Peridot & Diamond Necklace c.1910
A beautiful and feminine Edwardian peridot, pink topaz and diamond necklace.
This wonderful design is commonly referred to as a 'swag' necklace as the gems are set within a series of pearl set trace chain swags.
The necklace has 5 graduated drops each with a pear shaped peridot to the base under a pink topaz and diamond set section.
The stones are finely claw set typical of the era with the diamonds in a silver set millgrain edge. Each section is set onto a fine knife-edge bar giving the impression they are floating freely when worn.
The chain links have a natural seed pearls set to the centre. The necklace has its original barrel clasp fastening and could be elongated or shortened if required.
