Edwardian Ruby and Diamond Cluster Ring c.1905
An elegant early 20th Century ruby and diamond cluster ring.
The ring has a rich red ruby to the centre surrounded by a border of old cut diamonds in a classic design. The gemstones are all finely claw set in yellow gold with the ruby set slightly higher than the diamonds.
The ring has a fine coronet mount and tapered shoulders attached by a knife edge join to the head of the ring giving the illusion that the head is floating on the hand.
It would make a beautiful engagement ring as the design is perfect for every day wear.
