Edwardian Sapphire & Diamond Cluster Ring c.1920
A classic Edwardian sapphire and diamond cluster ring
This elegant ring has a central old cut sapphire surrounded by a border of diamonds in a timeless round cluster design.
The sapphire is a wonderful vivid blue colour, which compliments the white of the diamonds.
The gemstones are all finely claw set within a coronet style mount with a double grooved under bezel.
The head of the ring leads to tapered shoulders with chenier detailing and a plain gold shank.
This ring is low set to the finger, which is typical of the era, and would make a beautiful engagement ring.
