Edwardian Sapphire Gypsy Ring c.1905
A stylish Edwardian heavy weight sapphire gypsy set ring.
The beauty of this ring is its simplicity. The ring has a vibrant bright blue sapphire in a gypsy setting to the centre of a tapered heavy weight gold band.
The setting is open to the reverse allowing the light into the back of the stone. The sapphire is a really beautiful colour. The ring was made by Goldsmiths & Silversmiths in London - they were prolific makers of quality jewellery throughout the Victorian Edwardian and Deco eras.
(There are some very minor abraisions to the surface of the table consistent with age. This cannot be repolished without damaging the ring but does not affect the beauty of the ring).
This wonderful ring is low set to the hand typical of the era and perfect for everyday wear. It can be sized slightly but is restricted due to the design.
