Edwardian Pearl Line Brooch c.1910
An elegant Edwardian pearl 'line' brooch.
The brooch is simply designed as a row of 18 beautifully matched pearls (untested probably natural) within a fine platinum fronted oval frame. The reverse of the brooch is gold typical of the era with a gold pin.
The brooch, which is open to the reverse, has a safety catch to the pin keeping it safe when worn.
Era: Edwardian, 1901 - 1920
Measurements: 5.7cm in length, 5.4 grams in weight.
Pearls 3.1mm in diameter
Hallmarks: Stamped 18 tests platinum with unknown makers stamp (possibly American)
