Late Edwardian Silver Aesthetic Bangle c.1937
A stylish late Edwardian silver bangle.
This classic bangle is decorated with an engraved Aesthetic style design of a swallow flying over reeds within scrollwork acanthus leaf border.
The bangle is in beautiful condition and is a lovely example of late Edwardian Aesthetic movement jewellery.
It is plain on the underside typical of bangles from this era and has a hinged section to the middle with a push tongue clasp.
In the language of flowers, swallows represent love returning.
