A fabulous mid-century sapphire and diamond clasp.
The clasp with a central deep blue cabochon oval sapphire surrounded with a border of diamonds in an eliptical design.
The clasp (for a single row) has a diamond set integral tongue style catch which is hidden when closed, and has a good strong snap being secure when used.
The clasp has a safety catch to the reverse.
Era: Mid Century, c.1940 - 1960
