A stylish Victorian garnet locket pendant.
 
The pendant has a large oval cabochon garnet in a rub over mount set within a gold ropetwist border with a stylised lovers knot to the top. The back of the pendant has a locket compartment
 
There is a ropetwist runner ring to the top allowing the locket to be worn on a ribbon or chain. The pendant is in fabulous condition. 
 
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Pendant 3.3cm in length including runner ring, 1.7cm at widest point.
Pendant weighs 7.6 grams
Garnet estimated 14 carats
Hallmarks: Unmarked tests 18ct gold
