A beautiful Victorian forget me not locket.
 
This wonderful heart shaped locket is enamelled with a red guilloche enamel heart mounted with an old cut diamond set forget me not flower.
 
The heart has an outer border of white enamel with gold detailing. The enamel heart is in perfect condition.
 
The pendant has a locket compartment to the reverse which can be removed to reveal a compartment for a secret keepsake. 
 
The pendant is British in origin being in 15ct gold and has its original matt gilt finish to the reverse.
 
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Locket 1.8 cm in length (excluding runner ring), 1.5cm at widest point
4.6 grams in weight.
Hallmarks: Stamped 15CT to reverse
