A stylish late Victorian opal & diamond shamrock brooch.
 
This lovely brooch has wonderfully matched opals, surrounded by small old cut diamonds in a stylised shamrock design.  The contrast of the dark silver patina works perfectly with the play of colour in the opals.  
 
The brooch has a gold back and a sprung pin and is in wonderful condition.
 
Era: Art Nouveau, 1890 - 1910
Measurements: Brooch 4.5cm in length, 1.7cm at longest point.
