A wonderful Victorian opal & diamond heart brooch.

The brooch in a typically late Victorian design with a stylised diamond bow above a diamond and opal heart. The opal have a fabulpous play of colour and is cut in a cabouchon heart shape.

Surrounded by old cut diamonds the brooch is finely made in 18ct yellow gold

Era: Victorian, 1837 - 1901

Measurements: Brooch 3 cm in length, 1.7 cm at widest point,

total diamond weight estimated 1.6 carats

Hallmarks: tests 18ct gold
