An unusual late Victorian heart shaped ruby stick-pin 
 
This beautifully made pin has a heart shaped facetted ruby in a finely handmade coronet mount. This is attached to a pin with the traditional twisted detail to the centre.
 
The ruby is a beautiful colour - there is slight wear to the top table facet consistent with age.
 
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Pin 6.2cm in length,
Ruby estimated 0.75 carats, head 7mm at widest point, weight 1.4 grams
Hallmarks: Unmarked - tests 18ct gold head with 15ct gold pin
