A stylish late 19th Century swallow brooch.
 
This elegant brooch is realistically modelled as a swallow in flight. The brooch is French made and hollow in construction (typical of the era). The bird has a small pearl in its beak which hangs freely.
 
The brooch could if required be converted to a pendant.
 
Era: Victorian, 1839 - 1901
Measurements: Brooch is 5.8 cm (2 1/4 inches) in width, 2.1cm (3/4 inch)in length, it weighs 2.7 grams
Hallmarks: French marked for 18ct gold
